Alegeus seeks a Sales Specialist to join our dedicated, passionate team of professionals.  The Sales Specialist will report to the Senior Director of Core Accounts and be responsible for growing revenue through the timely and quality creation, preparation, and on-going management of Sales Opportunities required business-to-business sales deliverables.

 

MISSION:

 

The Sales Specialist's mission is to maximize our revenue growth win rate by developing and advancing sales opportunities in accordance with account plans – by maintaining a high-quality knowledgebase, crafting sales proposals, executing sales engagements, and making our GTM stakeholders more efficient in the sales process.

Responsibilities

OUTCOMES:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with the leadership of your assigned clients – within two months from successful completion of the Alegeus Onboarding Boot Camp.
  • Create a renewal and growth strategy across your assigned client to achieve Alegeus revenue growth commitments – created, presented, and beginning execution within two months from completing the Alegeus Onboarding Boot Camp.
  • Document, prioritize and support the pipelines of your assigned clients – within 3 months from successful completion of the Alegeus Onboarding Boot Camp.
  • Accurately reflect opportunities’ values, stages and close dates within SalesForce.com pipeline – within 1 month from successful completion of the Alegeus Onboarding Boot Camp.
  • Leverage Alegeus go-to-market best practices within assigned clients to maximize visibility of and potential for meeting or exceeding revenue targets – within 4 months from successful completion of the Alegeus Onboarding Boot Camp.

 

ROLE-BASED COMPETENCIES:

The desired candidate should have direct experience owning and self-managing business-to-business sales proposals. The desired candidate should have demonstrated success and positive management remarks in past work. In addition, the candidate should be comfortable working within tight deadlines, rapid turn-around requests, and ambiguous requests.

 

The candidate should also:

  • Maintain 300%+ pipeline coverage compared to quota for 12-month rolling calendar
  • Meet and exceed revenue quota
  • Meet and exceed customer engagement quotas
  • Increase new pipeline by 25% of quota each month
  • Demonstrate curiosity and an eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • Be very organized and detail-oriented – demonstrate the ability to manage multiple proposals for different stakeholders and customers; while juggling revisions, edits, changes, and deadlines.
  • Be proactive – proving their ability to anticipate questions and challenges before they arise.
  • Remain calm under pressure – being able to keep a logic-based, rational manner approaching due dates
  • Have high standards – ensuring all output meets the high-level of Alegeus standards – from basic copywriting and editing, to answer completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All responsibilities for this role will be in service of the Outcomes listed above
  • Meeting with key internal knowledge base owners and subject matter experts to ensure proposal content is up-to-date, accurate, complete, and appropriate for (any/particular) clients.
  • Own the relationships and growth of a given client territory
  • Work with internal team to provide analytical insights on CDH program growth/success
  • Assist client in driving overall growth of benefit accounts, both with new sales and within existing membership

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 0-3 years of experience creating and/or managing business-to-business sales proposals
  • Experience working within complex, long sales cycles and organizations is highly preferred
  • Direct experience working with online sales tools and CRM platforms is highly preferred
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters” and/or “Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of professional and educational experience
